Thursday, December 5th, 2019 NHL Betting Odds
Philadelphia Flyers -150, 5.5 vs. Arizona Coyotes
Brian and Cam begin their analysis of Thursday’s games by taking a look at the Flyers at home against the Coyotes. The Flyers are red-hot, having won five straight and they are favoured at home in this one.
Boston Bruins -220, 6 vs. Chicago Blackhawks
The hottest team in the NHL is the Boston Bruins, as they come into Thursday’s action having won eight straight. They are big favourites at home against a Chicago team that has lost three straight.
New York Islanders -115, 5.5 vs. Vegas Golden Knights
The Islanders are a slight home favourite on Thursday night against Vegas. The Golden Knights have played better of late and come into this game on a four-game winning streak. Be sure to listen to The Hockey Betting Podcast to get Brian and Cam’s thoughts on this game.
Montreal Canadiens -115, 6.5 vs. Colorado Avalanche
The Canadiens are a slight home favourite against Colorado on Thursday night. It is a tough spot for the Avalanche, as they are playing the second half of a back-to-back, as they were in Toronto on Wednesday night.
Columbus Blue Jackets -145, 6 vs. New York Rangers
The Rangers are three points in front of Columbus in the Metropolitan Division and both teams are well behind in the playoff race. Brian and Cam point out that this is the return of Artemi Panarin to Columbus as a member of the New York Rangers.
Tampa Bay Lightning -200, 6.5 vs. Minnesota Wild
The Lightning have surged back into playoff contention in the Eastern Conference, while the Wild are back in the mix in the Western Conference. This is an interesting matchup so be sure to listen to The Hockey Betting Podcast to get Brian and Cam’s thoughts on this game.
Carolina Hurricanes -160, 6.5 vs. San Jose Sharks
These two teams met earlier in the season in San Jose and it was all Sharks. The Hurricanes will be looking for revenge, but the Sharks have won 7 of their last 10 games overall. Brian likes the Sharks in this one.
Dallas Stars -160, 5.5 vs. Winnipeg Jets
The Dallas Stars have cooled off after a big winning streak, as Dallas has dropped four straight. They are still getting respect from the oddsmakers, as they are a solid home favourite against the Jets.
Calgary Flames -160, 5.5 vs. Buffalo Sabres
The Flames and Sabres have started to play a little better lately and each is back in the playoff race so this should be a good match-up in Calgary. Oddsmakers have the Flames a solid favourite, but there could be value in taking Buffalo and Brian is on the Sabres.

There are five games on the NHL schedule for Friday, with Chicago at New Jersey, Arizona at Pittsburgh, Montreal at NY Rangers, Los Angeles at Edmonton and Washington at Anaheim. Listen to the latest edition of the Hockey Betting Podcast to get Brian and Cam’s picks for Friday.
Saturday, December 7th, 2019 NHL Schedule
It is a big slate of games for Saturday with 11 games on the card including two matinees, as Ottawa visits Philadelphia, while Buffalo is at Vancouver. Brian and Cam like the Sabres and Canucks game over the total. The night games have Colorado at Boston, Pittsburgh at Detroit, San Jose at Tampa Bay, Columbus at Florida, Minnesota at Carolina, Toronto at St. Louis, New Jersey at Nashville, NY Islanders at Dallas and Los Angeles at Calgary. Make sure to listen to The Hockey Betting Podcast to get Brian’s pick for a game on Sunday’s NHL schedule.
