January 17th, 2020 NHL Schedule and Betting Odds

Carolina Hurricanes -210, 5.5 vs. Anaheim Ducks

There has been money coming in on the Ducks in this one, as Carolina opened as a -245 favourite and it is down to -210. Brian and Cam are looking to take this game over the total, as it is expected that both teams will be starting their backup goaltenders on Friday night.

Pittsburgh Penguins -230, 6 at Detroit Red Wings

The Penguins are big road favourites in this one against a Detroit team that has the worst record in the league.

Tampa Bay Lightning -135, 6 at Winnipeg Jets

The Lightning have won 8 of their last 10, and they are slight road favourites in this game against the Jets. Brian and Cam are looking at taking Tampa Bay and the over in this contest.

January 18th, 2020 NHL Schedule and Betting Odds

Washington Capitals -115, 5.5 at New York Islanders

The Capitals are in first place in the Metropolitan and nine points clear of the Islanders who are in third place. Cam is looking at taking this matinee over the total.

Edmonton Oilers -115, 6 vs. Arizona Coyotes

The Oilers are two points behind Calgary and Arizona in the Pacific, and there are five teams separated by just two points from first to fifth in the division. Cam is leaning to the Coyotes as a road underdog in this matinee game.

Colorado Avalanche -135, 6 vs. St. Louis Blues

The Avalanche are 10 points behind the Blues for first place in the Central Division. Brian and Cam are looking to take this game over the total.

Calgary Flames -155, 6 at Ottawa Senators

The Flames have won seven of their last ten, and they are road favourites against the Senators. Cam is advising caution on this one, as he doesn’t trust the Flames.

Philadelphia Flyers -210, 5.5 vs. Los Angeles Kings

The Kings have dropped three in a row, but the Flyers haven’t been anything special, going 4-5-1 in their last ten games. Brian and Cam are looking to take this game over the total.

Vegas Golden Knights -125, 6 at Montreal Canadiens

The Golden Knights are coming off a win against Ottawa in their first game under new head coach Peter DeBoer, and they are road favourites against Montreal on Saturday. Cam thinks this is a short price, and he is on Vegas on Saturday night.

Toronto Maple Leafs -225, 6.5 vs. Chicago Blackhawks

The Leafs are big home favourites against the Blackhawks, but this is a dangerous game for Toronto, as Chicago has won three straight. Cam is looking to put Toronto on some parlays on Saturday, and Cam also likes the game to go over the total.

Florida Panthers -210, 6.5 at Detroit Red Wings

The Red Wings are in a back-to-back situation, and they are big road dogs against the Panthers on Saturday. Brian doesn’t trust the Panthers, but it is risky to take the Red Wings. Cam likes this game to go over the total.

Columbus Blue Jackets -195, 5.5 vs. New Jersey Devils

The Blue Jackets have won three straight, and they are just four points out of third place in the Metropolitan. Make sure to listen to The Hockey Betting Podcast to get Brian and Cam’s picks for this game.

Nashville Predators -205, 6 vs. Buffalo Sabres

The Predators have lost two straight, but they are still big home favourites against the Sabres. Brian is looking to take the game over the total, and he sold Cam on also playing the Sabres as an underdog.

Dallas Stars -130 at Minnesota Wild

The Stars are slight road favourites against the Wild on Saturday night. There is a key injury that Brian and Cam talk about for this contest.

Vancouver Canucks -155 vs. San Jose Sharks

The Canucks have won 7 of their last 10, and they are favoured against a San Jose team that is closer to last place than to a playoff spot. Brian and Cam are passing on this game.
