January 13th, 2020 NHL Schedule and Betting Odds
Washington Capitals -140, 6.5 vs. Carolina Hurricanes
The Capitals opened as a -135 favourite, and there has been a little early money on Washington, as the line is now -140. Brian and Cam are a little bit leery of getting involved in this game.
Boston Bruins -135, 5.5 at Philadelphia Flyers
The Bruins opened as a -130 road favourite, and they are now listed as a -135 favourite. This is a tough spot for the Flyers, as they go against a Boston team on a three-game winning streak. Brian and Cam lean to the over in this one.
New York Islanders -125, 6 at New York Rangers
In the battle of New York the Islanders are slight road favourites. Both teams have muddled along recently with .500 records in their last ten games. Cam is looking at taking the Rangers as the home dog. Brian and Cam are also looking to play this game over the total.
Calgary Flames -110, 6 at Montreal Canadiens
The hottest team in the NHL is the Calgary Flames and they take a 5-game winning streak into Montreal on Monday. Brian is surprised at the line in this one, as he thinks the Flames should be bigger favourites, but Cam is not falling into the trap and says it is Montreal or nothing.
St. Louis Blues -220, 5.5 vs. Anaheim Ducks
The Blues have won three straight and have the best record in the Western Conference, and they are big home favourites on Monday night against the Ducks.
January 14th, 2020 NHL Schedule and Betting Odds
Vegas Golden Knights -135, 6 at Buffalo Sabres
The Golden Knights have not played well of late, as they are on a three-game losing streak, but the Sabres are just 4-6 in their last ten. Listen to The Hockey Betting Podcast to get Brian and Cam’s picks for this contest.
Toronto Maple Leafs -235, 6.5 vs. New Jersey Devils
The Leafs were rolling along for quite some time after the coaching change, but they have hit their first speed bump and they come into this game on a three-game losing streak. Brian and Cam are looking at betting this game over the total.
Tampa Bay Lightning -330, 6.5 vs. Los Angeles Kings
The Lightning had their long winning streak snapped by the Devils last time out, so Tampa will look to get back to their winning ways as they host the Kings on Tuesday.
New York Islanders -275, 5.5 vs. Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings are a bad team going nowhere, but this is a tough spot for the Islanders, as they are playing the second half of a back-to-back.
Pittsburgh Penguins -185, 6.5 vs. Minnesota Wild
Two teams going in opposite directions meet on Tuesday, as the Wild visit the Penguins. Minnesota has lost three straight, while the Penguins have won three in a row. This is the first game at home for the Penguins after a road trip, so Brian and Cam are on the Wild.
Boston Bruins -140, 5.5 at Columbus Blue Jackets
The Bruins are in a tough back-to-back spot, as they were in Philadelphia on Monday. Columbus is 6-2-2 in their last 10 games, but the Bruins are slight road favourites in this one. This is the first game at home after a long road trip for the Blue Jackets, so Brian and Cam are on the Bruins.
Chicago Blackhawks -115, 6.5 at Ottawa Senators
The Senators used to be a team you could take as an underdog, but they have been awful lately and come into this game on a 7-game losing streak.
Winnipeg Jets -130, 6.5 vs. Vancouver Canucks
The Canucks are just one point out of first place in the Pacific Division but this is a tough spot for the Canucks and Brian and Cam like the Jets in this game.
Colorado Avalanche -150, 5.5 vs. Dallas Stars
The Stars and Avalanche are battling for second place in the Central Division, with Dallas one point in front of Colorado. Cam is looking at taking the Avalanche in this game.
Nashville Predators -115, 6.5 at Edmonton Oilers
The Predators are starting to play better under new head coach John Hynes and they are slight road favourites in this game against the Oilers. Make sure to listen to The Hockey Betting Podcast to get the pick from Brian and Cam on this game.
Arizona Coyotes -150, 5.5 vs. San Jose Sharks
The Coyotes are battling for first place in the Pacific, while the Sharks are trying to stay out of last place. Cam is laying the price and taking Arizona in this one.
