The Blues beat the Bruins to win the title last season, but neither St. Louis nor Boston is favored to win the 2020 Stanley Cup. The Tampa Bay Lightning are the current favorite to win the Stanley Cup, but that doesn’t mean much, as they were also the preseason favorite to win the Cup a year ago. The Lightning went 62-16-4 and finished with 128 points last season. The second choice in the NHL betting odds is the Vegas Golden Knights. They finished with 93 points a year ago. Other top contenders to win the 2020 Stanley Cup are the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins. The defending champion Blues are actually tied for the 5th-best odds to win the 2020 Stanley Cup at about 14-1.
