Thursday, January 9th, 2020 NHL Betting Odds and Hockey Schedule

Tampa Bay Lightning -190, 6 vs. Arizona Coyotes

The Lightning are big home favourites to extend their winning streak to nine, but Arizona is playing well having won four in a row. Brian and Cam like the over in this contest.

Florida Panthers -140, 6.5 vs. Vancouver Canucks

The Canucks have been playing better of late having won 7 of 10, but they are a road dog in Florida. Vancouver is coming off a really bad game against Tampa, so they could be poised for a bounce-back effort on Thursday.

Montreal Canadiens -135, 6 vs. Edmonton Oilers

This is the strangest line of the night, as the Canadiens are favoured at home over Edmonton. Montreal has lost seven straight, while Edmonton comes in having won two in a row.

Boston Bruins -230, 6 vs. Winnipeg Jets

The Bruins are big favourites over a Winnipeg team that looked good on Wednesday in a win over Toronto.

New York Rangers -170, 6 vs. New Jersey Devils

There has been some money on New York in this one, as the Rangers opened as a -140 favourite, and they are now laying -170 against the Devils. Make sure to listen to The Hockey Betting Podcast to get Brian and Cam’s picks on this game.

St. Louis Blues -210, 5.5 vs. Buffalo Sabres

The Sabres have won two straight, but they are still big underdogs against the defending Stanley Cup champions. Brian points out that the Blues are coming home from a three-game road trip, so he is looking at taking the Sabres, while Cam likes the game to go over.

Nashville Predators -140, 6.5 at Chicago Blackhawks

The Predators will be looking for their first win under new head coach John Hynes, and this would seem to be a good spot in Chicago. Cam is backing the Predators in this one.

Calgary Flames -160, 6 vs. Minnesota Wild

The early money is on Calgary in this one, as the Flames opened as a -145 favourite and the line is up to -160. Cam is going against the line move, as he leans toward the Wild.

Vegas Golden Knights -290, 6 vs. Los Angeles Kings

The Golden Knights are massive home favourites against a Los Angeles team that played last night against Dallas. Cam is taking the Golden Knights on the puckline, and he is also parlaying Vegas, while Brian likes the first period to go over the total.

Dallas Stars -135, 5 at Anaheim Ducks

The Stars are in a back-to-back, as they were in Los Angeles last night. Cam is taking the Ducks at plus money in this contest.

San Jose Sharks -120, 5.5 vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

The Sharks are playing poorly with just three wins in their last 10 games, but they are slight favourites against a Columbus team that has won 7 of 10. Make sure to listen to The Hockey Betting Podcast to get Brian and Cam’s picks on this game.

Friday, January 10th, 2020 NHL Schedule

Ottawa Senators at Detroit Red Wings

This is definitely the ugly match-up of the night on Friday between the two worst teams in the Eastern Conference. Cam is taking Ottawa in this contest.

Arizona Coyotes at Carolina Hurricanes

This is a difficult back-to-back for the Coyotes, as they had to play in Tampa on Thursday and now face the Hurricanes. Brian likes this game to go over the total.

Pittsburgh Penguins at Colorado Avalanche

The Penguins have been surviving without two of their top players in Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel, but they could be getting Crosby back any day.

Weekend NHL Picks

There are 11 games on Saturday and six games on Sunday. Brian and Cam have a couple of picks for Saturday, while Brian likes the Sabres and Red Wings on Sunday to go over the total.
